Locally-selected assessments must provide for accessibility or accommodations that allow it to be used by a minimum of 95 percent of the students in each school. The indicator is inclusive of all students who take the selected assessment and were enrolled for a full academic year. Percent Grade 7 Mathematics: This indicator is the percentage of students who demonstrate on-track performance measured by a locally selected assessment or the state issued Grade 7 Mathematics PSSA test. Percent Grade 3 Reading: This indicator is the percentage of students who demonstrate on-track performance measured by a locally selected assessment or the state issued Grade 3 English Language Arts (ELA) PSSA test. On-Track Measures Definitions and Calculations Numerator: Number of students listed in the denominator who achieved proficient or advanced on the statewide assessment However, where participation rates fall below 95 percent, each subsequent non-tested student must be designated as non-proficient. For schools that exceed 95 percent participation proficiency will be calculated based on the performance of tested students only.
